I am very fond of rain, clouds, lightings, croaking frogs, nightingales singing,etc. After 3 months of intense heat, everyone feels like going out and have fun in cloudy romantic weather. Adalaj Step Well
Adalaj Step Well is on Ahmedabad Gandhinagar highway, this places is perfect for short casual outing. There is small garden where you can spend some peaceful time and have chit-chat with your friends. Architecture of this place is very old and majestic which brings in lot of people for photography and sketching. Although it’s open from 6 AM till 6 PM everyday, its best to visit it in early morning.
Normally features in all Ahmedabad photos and a beautiful riverfront, first of its kind in India. There are lots of activities which you can do over there like boating, zipline, driving segway, etc. visit riverfront in evening to enjoy most of it.
Dada Hazir Step Well
This place is similar to Adalaj stepwell and is located in old city area. If you are interested in clicking some pictures and don’t want much audience then this place is perfect. Do carry some snacks and water bottle with you as you won’t find anything near this place.
Siddi Sayed Mosque
This place is very famous for carvings on its wall. If you are fond of art and historical architecure then you should visit it once.
Sarkhej roza is very old mosque located in Makarba. People visit it to study its design, make sketches etc. It is worth visiting it once.
This place is very famous in Ahmedabad, you shouldn’t miss a visit to Kankaria lake during a beautiful monsoon weather . There are many activities to do, there are things like fun park, boating, train ride, hot air ballon, water ballon, etc. This place is pretty crowded most of the time so prepare yourself accordingly. You should totally avoid it if you don’t like crowded places. They also have some food stalls.
